Chapter Chairman Message
As we begin a new year, I’d like to congratulate all the winners of our SOAR awards and issue this challenge: Bring a New Member.
ASIS is a key organization in building public-private partnerships that protect our community and its visitors. We gain strength by working together. As the community and the tourism sector grow, so must our membership. So this year, for each ASIS event and luncheon, Bring a New Member. Introduce a new security professional to what we do. Spread the word to your general managers, HR and Operations executives. Let’s get more people involved in security.
Our guest speaker for February’s chapter luncheon is Orlando Police Chief Paul Rooney, who will speak about public-private partnership and new technology initiatives for fighting crime. Let’s welcome Chief Rooney with a crowd that rivals that at the SOAR awards. Let’s make 2012 the safest year yet in our community.
Sgt. Doug Sarubbi, Chairman
